Nijo-ji castle
It is so hard to keep up with the great places I have visited! Nijo-ji castle is one of my favourite places so far, because the interiors were just so gorgeous! (And naturally it was forbitten to take any photos there but later there's some pictures from the garden). Inside the castle the sliding doors (fusumas) are all golden with pine and sankura paintings and the atmosphere is just so strong. There's also nightingale floors and it is just so wow :)
